Diagnostic and
Therapeutic Services:
Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic
services to care for your pets' complete health care needs. We are equipped and staffed to accommodate emergencies, acute illnesses, routine surgical and dental procedures, ongoing care for protracted or chronic illnesses, as well as routine minor illnesses and injuries. We routinely perform advanced procedures in surgery and ultrasound.
Anesthesia:
We utilize the safest
available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety,
especially for our older or high risk patients. Using the most
modern equipment, the patient's vital signs, including blood pressure and blood oxygen levels, are monitored during
all anesthetic procedures.
Radiology
Services: We have recently made the transition to digital x-ray. Digital x-ray allows for image production without the need for chemically developing an x-ray. Therefore images are available within seconds, reducing patient time on the x-ray table and reducing stress. Image quality is superior and images can be immediately transmitted to specialists for further evaluation.
Laboratory:
Our in-house
laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology,
serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize
commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and
consultations.
Behavioral
Counseling: We can
provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as
excessive barking, chewing, anxiety, spraying, scratching, digging,
house soiling and aggression.
